The Research Facilitator is responsible for providing study support to ensure high quality clinical and research governance at Birmingham Women’s & Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be based within the R&D team at Birmingham Children\`s Hospital.  They will work predominantly with the Research Facilitators, QA team, Principle Investigators, Delivery teams and Research Support services.  Some home working can be supported. ### Main duties of the job The post holder will be responsible for supporting research projects throughout their life-cycle. From expression of interest and early feasibility assessment, all the way through to study close-out and archiving. The post holder will act as the primary R&D point of contact for a portfolio of research projects. They will be responsible for managing a number of disease speciality areas within paediatrics and women's health research. A significant function of this post is to setup new research projects within the Trust. This includes a mixture of academic and commercial research; clinical trials, other interventional studies, as well as observational research projects.
