### Job summary

The Relief Registered Nurse will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care across Jewish Cares residential and nursing services on a flexible bank basis, covering shifts as required. The postholder will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating person-centred care for older people, including those living with dementia and complex health needs. They will lead and support care teams on shift, ensuring high standards of clinical practice, safeguarding, medication management, and accurate documentation in line with NMC and organisational requirements. The role also involves responding to changes in residents conditions, escalating concerns appropriately, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues to promote dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life. This is a vital frontline clinical role ensuring continuity of safe, high-quality care across services.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to residents, supporting their physical, emotional, social, and psychological wellbeing. About You

We are looking for compassionate and professional nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You will have:

- Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN
- A Nursing degree (Bachelors or Masters)
- At least 1 years nursing experience in a care or clinical setting
- Experience leading or supporting care teams
- Experience administering medication and maintaining accurate records
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, flexible, and team-focused approach

Experience working with older people and individuals living with dementia is desirable.

Working Pattern

This role is for relief/ bank on a casual as and when required basis to cover absence.

Shifts are:

7:45 8:15 (12.5 hour shifts including breaks) 11.5 hours paid due to 15-minute handover meetings
