### Job summary

The Relief Care Assistant will play an important role within the Care team at Otto Schiff on the Maurice and Vivienne Wohl Campus in Golders Green, providing person-centred support to residents living with dementia. Working on a relief basis with 12-hour shifts from 8am8pm, including some weekends, the postholder will support residents with personal care and daily routines, provide companionship and emotional support, and encourage independence, choice and dignity. The role also involves assisting with meals, activities and wellbeing, building positive relationships with residents and their families, and working as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality care. Previous care experience is not essential, with full training and ongoing support provided.

### Main duties of the job

We are looking for a kind, patient and compassionate Relief Care Assistant to join our team at Otto Schiff in Golders Green. This is a rewarding opportunity to work flexibly while making a genuine difference to residents living with dementia. You will build meaningful relationships and provide the practical and emotional support people need each day, including personal care, daily routines, mealtimes, activities and companionship. You will promote independence, choice and dignity while helping residents feel safe, respected and valued. No previous care experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided.
