### Job summary

As a Relief Care Assistant at Jewish Cares Betty and Asher Loftus Centre, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to residents, helping them with personal care, daily routines, meals, activities and wellbeing. Working on a casual, as-and-when-required basis to cover absence, you will build positive relationships with residents and their families while promoting dignity, independence and choice. Your support will help residents feel safe, respected and valued, and enable them to live meaningful lives. You will work as part of a supportive care team and contribute to delivering high-quality care tailored to each individuals needs, preferences and personality.

### Main duties of the job

If you are kind, patient and compassionate and want to make a genuine difference to peoples lives, this could be the role for you. As a Relief Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to get to know residents as individuals, provide companionship and practical support, and help create positive moments every day. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential, as full training and ongoing support are provided. We are looking for reliable team players who listen well, have a positive attitude, are comfortable supporting people with a range of needs and are keen to learn and develop. Our multi-award-winning organisation is looking to recruit a Care Assistant to join our Care team.

Working pattern

Youll work on a two-week rolling rota:
