You will be a key member of the peri-operative team ensuring that patients receive excellent standards of care. You will be confident in delivering peri-operative care and will have a broad knowledge and skill base. You will be driven to ensure the standards of care you deliver are effective, current and evidenced-based and enjoy working within a small team putting the patient at the heart of everything that you do. The role requires a team approach, providing and maintaining high standards of care. The RN/ODP will fulfil the roles on the ward undertaking assessment, planning, and evaluation of nursing care for service users during the perioperative journey. The post holder will be required to participate in training, supervision and competency assessment of learners, including student nurses and or other junior or inexperienced staff.
