This is a vital and valued role within the health team.  Based on Ward 8A-Gastroenterology/Hepatology, you work collaboratively and cooperatively with the rest of the health team to ensure delivery of high-quality and compassionate care to patients and their families/carers. Ward 8A is a twenty nine bedded mixed gastroenterology ward with one side room which is a procedure room for abdominal drains. As a Registered Nurse, you will participate to provide a high standard of research-based care, support the team of staff working in the area to deliver quality service which is linked to high standards of patient care and support the other members of the nursing team in their training and development. Participate within a team of nurse and support workers in providing continuity of patient care, patients physical, social and psychological needs are met. Participate in internal shift rotation in order to provide 24-hour patient care.
