Post-preceptorship experience is essential for this position. Please note this post is not suitable for applicants who are required to undertake the OSCE training programme. Applicants who do not have current valid UK NMC registration will not be considered for this post. Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP ### Main duties of the job You will gain experience on the Day Case Unit as part of a small team administering IV biologic therapies to our patients and be engaged in the administration of treatments for osteoporosis and other rheumatology conditions. The day unit would offer you a broad range of experience in caring for rheumatology patients  requiring:- Specialist IV medications including cytotoxics Phlebotomy Cannulation Supporting patients and families through treatment You will be required to assess patients before, during, and after treatments, remaining vigilant to identify and manage any infusion-related reactions in accordance with local guidelines. You will maintain accurate, contemporaneous nursing records and ensure informed consent prior to starting treatment You will need to be a good communicator, show compassion and empathy and work as part of a team demonstrating at all times the Trusts  values and behaviours.
