Would you like the challenge of working in a busy forward thinking Outpatients department, The Outpatient's department at Royal Derby Hospital supports a wide range of specialities including Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Neurology, DME , Stroke and Respiratory.

If you are considering applying for an internal secondment, please ensure you have discussed this with your line manager and obtained their support prior to submitting your application.

Please be aware that there is no guarantee that you will be released from your substantive post, so you should seek approval before applying as you are applying or a Secondment.

### Main duties of the job

This role would ideally suit a Staff Nurse who can support a range of clinical specialties, contributing to the delivery of an effective, efficient and responsive outpatient service.

You will have excellent communication skills and a flexible attitude which will assist you in managing numerous issues pertaining to patients, their safe and efficient journey through the department as well as liaising with Multi-disciplinary Teams.

You must be committed to delivering high quality of care and be able to work as part of a team. The ability to prioritise your workload and liaise confidently with staff from all disciplines is essential.
