### The Role

Registered Nurse responsible for the application of the Framework of the Nursing Process to deliver high standards of client / patient nursing care for patients with a range of mental disorders, substance misuse, learning disability or co-morbidity, under the clinical supervision of the caseload holder / charge nurse / team leader, senior charge nurse or practitioner. The registered nurse has delegated responsibility for the appraisal and clinical supervision of students and clinical / healthcare support workers in provision of care and treatment within a defined clinical service, under the management and leadership of the team leader / senior charge nurse or practitioner.

### In this key role, you will:

- Use the framework of the Nursing Process to undertake assessment, of clients / patients in accordance with agreed operational policies for the defined clinical area, planning, implementing and evaluating the care plan in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team and the client / patient.
- Participate in meetings / forums as agreed with team members, and provide feedback and information as appropriate to the team
- Be fully compliant with the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the other relevant guidance documents, which support and maintain standards of professional practice for nurses and midwives
- Participate in the implementation and monitoring of the organisation’s Clinical Governance Framework and evidence based clinical standards, within the scope and range of the post.

### What You'll Bring:

- Registered Nurse  with valid NMC Registration
- The post holder will be required to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative
- Effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
