We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to join the friendly and dedicated team at Aylsham Medical Day Unit (AMDU).

AMDU is a nurse-led service providing planned care for patients referred from all specialties across the Acute Trust. Since its establishment in 2018, the service has continued to grow and develop caring for more than 11,000 patients in the last year alone. We provide a diverse range of services, including:

- Venesection
- Day-case biopsies
- Paracentesis
- Day-case heart failure assessment and management

Our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing safe, compassionate and high-quality care, supporting patients with both acute and chronic conditions to remain in their own homes wherever possible. Through our service, we help to avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, support early discharge and promote patient independence.

- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement and service development.
- Maintain professional knowledge and competence through continuing professional development, training and reflective practice.
- Work flexibly as part of a 7-day service, including shifts between 07:00 and 19:30.
