## Job Content

Blair House is looking to recruit a registered nurse days and nights to join the team. This is a full time role of 37.5 hours.Blair House is located in Billinghay. Our home offers residential and nursing support for 27 males and females with a primary learning disability diagnosis. We are in a semi-rural location, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

### What you'll be doing

- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patients named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess need and evaluate progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.

### What you'll bring to the role

**Essential**

Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.The role requires a qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship program. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests, and professional practices, along with evidence of continuing professional development. A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality are essential, as is the ability to develop and apply flexible and innovative approaches to practice. Additionally, a minimum of six months’ post-registration experience within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment is required, with evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field.
