Full Time role of 37.5 hours per week

Priory Hospital Bristol has an opportunity for a Registered Mental Health Nurse with an active NMC Registration to join our team on the male PICU ward.

You will be working on the Male PICU ward. Our PICU services have been designed to support people in a severe phase of illness who cannot be managed in acute services. Our dedicated PICU services place us at the forefront of specialised intensive care, and our highly trained teams can support people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, along with co-existing issues (such as substance misuse).

### Main duties of the job

You will be part of a compassionate team that is committed to supporting people's wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care by assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating individualised care plans while acting as the patient's named nurse. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and recovery-focused care, responding proactively to changes in patients' needs and supporting their families and carers. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent clinical judgement, communication, and leadership skills, prioritising and delegating workload effectively while maintaining compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, the Mental Capacity Act, the NMC Code, and organisational policies. You will also be committed to continuous professional development, clinical supervision, reflective practice, and supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship.
