Recruitment/Retention  payment of £3,000 for new starters who are external to the Trust. This is payable in 2 instalments over a 24 month period. Terms and conditions apply to the scheme, in relation to repayment should you leave within a 24 month period.

We are looking for ambitious staff with the desire for both personal and   professional development. We offer regular clinical and managerial supervision as well as promoting continuous professional development to provide you with opportunities to progress and ensure that best practice is embedded in clinical provision. We support our staff through a well-structured Trust Induction, Mandatory Training, monthly professional and clinical supervisions, staff appraisals, robust  Preceptorship Programme, support for continual professional development activities, Reflective Practice, staff meetings, psychosocial and team events such as team away days. We also offer a number of clinical and professional development opportunities.

You must be a qualified RMN, Learning Disability Nurse in the final year of your RMN/LD course. It’s important that you have an understanding of multidisciplinary services and the challenges that Children and young people face from their mental health problems.

Communication skills must be of the highest standard, you will be expected to engage with very vulnerable children and their families. You must show that you are caring and compassionate as well as a desire to uphold the dignity of the Patient you support.
