We are looking for a talented, highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to help manage the Integrated Site Clearance projects in support of the new Hillingdon Hospital redevelopment. You will be responsible for ensuring that the projects associated with the clearance of the hospital site footprint are delivered on time and within budget, with the safe operational transfer and relocation of services whilst making best use of Trust assets.

Working closely with service users and a wide range stakeholders, the post holder will work alongside a passionate and motivated clinical and operational team to support the redevelopment of the service and must be flexible and collaborative in their approach.

The post holder should have a proven track record in leading and delivering multiple projects simultaneously as well as experience of managing significant capital projects.  Experience of complex environments is essential, along with working independently and proactively.

### Main duties of the job

- Employ strong project management skills, ensuring that project are delivered successfully and on time.
- Ensure every project has been risked assessed via the QEIA process from the outset and has a risk register and all risks have appropriate mitigating actions. Any risks that require immediate attention are reported to the MD.
- Ensure that all projects are appropriately sponsored by the relevant Division, have clinical engagement and all stakeholders are communicated and involved regularly.
- Ensure each project has a Project Board that reports into the relevant Trust Committee.
- Ensure that projects remain within financial agreements, indicating immediately to the MD or CFO where projects are overspending.

### Detailed job description and main responsibilities

- To operationally deliver the integrated site clearance no gaps plan and ensure all service relocations take place within the required timeframes and quality impact assessment guidelines to ensure the safe delivery of services.
- Seek and guide programme planning to ensure the relevant clinical and operational input and knowledge of the key clinical and operational requirements that need to be in place to safely deliver and move services are met at each project stage gate.
- To help establish and develop a strong understanding of the clinical pathways to support the relevant service relocations.
- Provide expertise on the required involvement of and adjacencies when considering the future location of services (such as pathology and radiology).
- To lead the development of standard operating procedures which outline how services will be clinically and operationally delivered from a new setting.
- To work collaboratively and develop strong working relationships with the operational and clinical teams and act as an interface between the two.
- To research examples of best practice within the NHS and internationally to inform the development of the clinical and operational model.
- Liaise with Estates and Facilities and with other corporate teams to ensure areas meet the needs of service users, paying particular attention to privacy and dignity.
- Establish the information and reporting requirements for the service
- Respond to financial, resourcing and procurement queries and proactively follow up and track progress to ensure a speedy resolution to problems.
