Are you an organised, motivated and people-focused recruitment professional ready to take the next step in your career?

We are looking for a proactive Recruitment Lead to join our People and Culture team to lead the delivery of a high-quality, efficient and compliant recruitment service that makes a real difference to Spectrum, our staff and managers and our patients.

You will line manage the Recruitment Team to deliver a people focused recruitment service from vacancy approval through to appointment, overseeing the delivery of a positive and professional experience for both candidates and recruiting managers. This also includes responsibility for the day to day management of the agency provision to the organisation.

### Main duties of the job

This will involve:o Being the first point of escalation for recruitment querieso Providing advice and guidance to recruiting managers and candidates through each stage of the recruitment process.o ensuring all recruitment activity is delivered in line with Spectrum's policy, NHS Employment Check Standards, employment legislation and best practice.o Using systems, including ESR, prison vetting and recruitment systems, including Trac, to maintain accurate records and produce reports.o Lead on the day to day management of the agency provision which includes areas such as seeking approval for agency usage, working with the agency vendor and managing agency escalation issues.

You willo be qualified to NVQ level 5/CIPD Level 5 or able to demonstrate equivalent experienceo experience of leading recruitment activities and providing advice in a busy Recruitment or HR/People and Culture Service. o have line management experience to support the teamo be flexible, highly organised with excellent prioritisation skills and be able to work accurately and meet deadlines in a busy work environment.o Be able to build strong and credible relationships and feel comfortable advising managers and supporting candidates throughout the recruitment processo have experience of preparing reports and presenting data to support the analysis of recruitment data to coupled with experience of working to KPI's to ensure effective service delivery.

### Knowledge and Experience

**Essential**

- Demonstrable experience working within a HR Service, delivering recruitment and selection activities and providing advice and guidance.
- Experience of delivering HR projects.
- Experience of working to KPI's and providing reports.
- Experience of providing training and developing guidance documentation.
- Experience of working with a range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Experience of using an online recruitment and HR systems.
- Up to date knowledge of recruitment legislation.
- An understanding of recruitment media and recruitment marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of recruitment challenges facing healthcare organisations.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft word, Outlook, Excel and 365.
- Experience of preparing and presenting data that supports analysis of recruitment data, staff retention including substantive and bank
- Experience of line managing a team.
- Knowledge of NHS Employment checks and able to demonstrate an understanding of their importance within healthcare

**Desirable**

- Previous experience of working in an NHS/healthcare provider organisation.
- Experience in using Trac and ESR.
- Experience of supervising a team
- Experience of working with agencies and agency vendors
