### Main duties of the job

Receptionist role involves assisting patients face-to-face, by phone and online; and to liaise with hospital departments, interpreter services, transport services etc.

Administrative role involves processing messages by phone, fax and email; processing repeat prescription requests; data entry onto computers; contacting patients to arrange special appointments etc

We are a training practice for GP registrars, clinical pharmacists etc. Our premises consist of a spacious and quite modern health centre. 7,500 patients are registered with our practice, and there is a diverse mixture of ethnic minorities. We have 4 doctors and trainees. Our clinical software is EMIS Web (now called Optum)

Tuesday: 08:30 to 13:30
