We are seeking a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our team at Petersfield Hospital. As the first point of contact for patients, visitors and staff, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming, efficient and supportive environment within our patient-facing clinical setting.

You will greet and direct visitors, answer telephone queries promptly and courteously, and provide reassurance to patients where needed. The role also includes a range of administrative duties such as managing emails, booking meeting and clinic rooms, handling incoming and outgoing mail, monitoring stock levels and maintaining accurate records.

You will support the smooth running of the site by coordinating contractor sign-in processes, issuing keys and access cards, reporting building faults and updating the switchboard database. Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are essential, alongside the ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.

They will also monitor stock levels and order office supplies, report building faults and escalate issues where necessary, and maintain a tidy, well-organised reception area.

Strong IT skills are required to update systems such as the switchboard database and support effective communication across the site. The role requires the ability to work independently, prioritise workload, maintain strict patient confidentiality, and work flexibly to support colleagues.
