### Job summary

You'll support people using sexual health services by welcoming them, answering queries, and helping them access the right care at the right time. Working with the administration team, you will help keep services running smoothly and efficiently. Your role is key to creating a positive first impression for patients and supporting colleagues with essential admin tasks. You'll help ensure information is handled safely and accurately, making a real difference to patient experience and service quality. What you'll do:

- Welcome patients and visitors, acting as the first point of contact
- Manage calls, emails, and enquiries in a clear and timely way
- Book appointments and update records on the Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system
- Provide admin support such as filing, scanning, and preparing documents
- Signpost patients to appropriate services and support options

## Person Specification

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Word processing to RSA 2 standard European Computer Driving License (EDCL) or able to demonstrate appropriate level of skill

### Knowledge & Experience

**Essential**

- Knowledge of a range of routine administration procedures
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Previous experience of working in an office environment and carrying out general officer procedures

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of other Microsoft packages
- Experience of SystmOne functions
- Previous NHS experience
- Previous experience of working with general public
