Role: Pre-Treatment Team Leader

Location: The Harley Street Clinic, Central London

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week

Shift times: Service is open from 08:30-5.30pm.

Contract type: Permanent

We have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Treatment Team Leader to join our team at The Harley Street Clinic, currently rated Outstanding by the CQC.

At The Harley Street Clinic, we provide a range of complex care services, specialising in oncology, cardiology and neuroscience. ### Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the Pre-Treatment Superintendent Radiographer in the day-to-day leadership of the pre-treatment service, providing clinical and technical expertise to ensure the safe, accurate and efficient delivery of CT simulation, treatment planning preparation and associated radiotherapy planning pathways. They will promote patient centred care offering an excellent patient experience, whilst ensuring imaging protocols and simulation techniques are delivered to agreed standards.

Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team, they will supervise Senior Radiographers, support service development, maintain quality assurance standards, and contribute to the pre-treatment planning of complex radiotherapy techniques, including SABR, whilst ensuring compliance with departmental policies and IR(ME)R regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Radiographer with a strong background in radiotherapy pre-treatment who is looking to further develop their leadership skills. Ideal candidates will have experience supervising colleagues within a busy clinical environment and will bring confidence in CT simulation and treatment preparation, with experience of Siemens CT scanners and ARIA Oncology Information System being advantageous.

## Person Specification

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- What youll bring:
- BSc (Hons) in Therapeutic Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registration
- Extensive clinical experience as a senior radiographer or Team Leader level, which ideally includes Pre-Treatment/CT simulation experience.
- Advanced knowledge of patient management systems, experience with Eclipse TPS and Aria is desirable, in addition to IV contrast competencies
