## Job Content

### Job overview

The Radiology Systems Support Officer is a hybrid clinical systems and digital support role responsible for maintaining and optimising Radiology IT systems (including PACS and RIS) to ensure imaging data is accurate, accessible, and available to support safe patient care.

The post holder provides first-line technical and operational support, troubleshooting system issues, supporting users, maintaining data quality, and ensuring the ongoing performance, reliability, and compliance of radiology systems across the Trust.

It acts as a key link between clinical teams, digital/IT services, and system suppliers, supporting both day-to-day operations and the wider development of radiology digital services.

Under current Home Office Immigration Rules, this role does not meet the UK Visas and Immigration criteria and the position is not therefore eligible for skilled worker sponsorship. Applications from candidates that require skilled worker sponsorship will NOT be shortlisted.  Applicants eligible for transitional provisions must clearly describe how they satisfy this within their application.
