You will work alongside the Nurse Manager, Radiology Specialist Nurses and Radiologist to ensure the delivery of high quality nursing care for all patients requiring radiology interventions. Duties: - Patient care and support, patient preparation. Escorting patients, providing comfort and reassurance. Assisting with procedures - Positioning patients, equipment handling and support during imaging including recording of NEWS. Administration duties - Ensuring patient records are up to date and accurate, booking on Radiology systems, and requesting notes. Maintaining cleanliness and safety - Cleaning equipment, radiation safety. Communication - Patient interaction and ensuring team work with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations within the department.
