### Job overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Radiology Medical Staffing team, providing PA/administrative support to the Radiology consultant teams and resident doctors. This role will work as part of a team to ensure a smooth running of administrative services for Radiology Medical Staffing at Denmark Hill.

### Main duties of the job

The post holder will be responsible for providing consistent and professional administrative and clerical support to the Consultant Radiologists and Radiology resident doctors. The post holder will be expected to act independently ensuring that daily tasks and ongoing workloads are prioritised and completed in agreed timeframes. The post holder will ensure confidential and sensitive information in relation to patients and staff is kept secure, and follow the policies and procedures for the Department.

**Essential**

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively using own initiative as well working as part of a team
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Able to prioritise competing work streams and deliver against deadlines
- Able to develop good working relationships in a multi-disciplinary team

### Knowledge & Experience

**Essential**

- Proven record of working knowledge of administrative and secretarial practice
- Good level of IT skills. ECDL or proven equivalent experience in MS Office, Email and Internet browsers
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.

**Desirable**

- Previous experience in NHS or other Health Care setting

### Education & Qualifications

**Essential**

- GCSE A-C grade in English or equivalent
