We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional to join our Quality Improvement (QI)Team as a QI Senior Practitioner.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the Trust, working in partnership with clinical and corporate colleagues to improve patient safety, experience and outcomes.

As a valued member of the team, you will lead and support QI programmes using recognised improvement methodologies to deliver measurable and sustainable change. You will manage improvement projects, with a particular focus on Falls prevention and safer mobility, working closely with clinical teams to design, implement and evaluate improvement and education programmes.

The successful candidate will champion the principles of the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF), promoting a just and learning-focused culture and identifying opportunities for system-wide learning.

Working within a friendly, supportive and dynamic team, you will provide expert guidance and support improvement projects across the organisation and act as a subject matter expert helping to build trustwide improvement capability.

As part of your development, you will have the opportunity to complete the nationally accredited Quality, Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) Associate Programme and become a member of the RUH QSIR Faculty, contributing to the delivery of training and developing improvement leaders.

### Main duties of the job

The postholder will:

- Lead quality improvement programmes, applying recognised improvement methodologies to drive measurable change and managing a portfolio of improvement initiatives including Falls prevention /safer mobility.
- Provide expert evaluation and guidance, offering specialist advice to clinical teams to support evidence-based decision making and best practice.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Quality Improvement and Falls prevention /safer mobility, role modelling the behaviours and principles of continuous improvement and supporting capability-building across the organisation.
- Support the design of relevant education programmes across the trust, including induction, mandatory training, and ongoing professional development.
- Be developed to become a Quality Service Improvement and Redesign (QSIR) Associate. This is a nationally accredited QI programme and the postholder will become part of the RUH QSIR Faculty delivering QSIR training.
- Be based within the corporate Quality Improvement Team, and be expected to work at a clinical level as required, collaborating with divisional teams to support, influence, and sustain improvement.
