We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Quality and Safety Specialist to join our team. This role is open to a registered healthcare professional with a passion for quality improvement, patient safety, and delivering excellence in care. As a key member of the Trust's Quality and Safety Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting and developing an organisation-wide approach to continuous improvement, helping to drive improvements in patient outcomes, safety, and service quality across the Trust. Please refer to the attached job description and personal specification for further details. ### Main duties of the job The primary focus of this role is to support and empower the clinical workforce, working closely with front-line Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional teams to continually evaluate and improve the quality of care delivered to patients. Using evidence-based improvement methodologies, the post holder will lead and support initiatives that drive sustainable improvements in patient outcomes, safety and experience. A key aspect of the role will be the development, implementation and maintenance of quality improvement programmes focused on areas such as pressure ulcer prevention, reducing patient falls, improving nutrition and hydration, enhancing patient experience, and strengthening clinical effectiveness. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated registered Nurse, Midwife or Allied Health Professional with experience of quality improvement within an acute and/or community healthcare setting. The successful candidate will be passionate about patient safety and continuous improvement, with the ability to inspire and support others to deliver high-quality care. Comprehensive support, education and training will be provided to facilitate ongoing professional development.
