We are currently seeking a full time administrator on a permanent contract.

The post supports the safeguarding team, which is part of the wider Clinical Quality Directorate.

The base for this role is the Trust HQ at Springhill, Wakefield but the team are hybrid working- both at Trust HQ or remote working from home. The ability to utilise online electronic systems such as Microsoft Teams is essential to support ongoing remote working.

The successful candidate will need to be a team player who is adaptable, self-motivated, and innovative.

The working hours of the safeguarding team are Monday-Friday 9-5pm.

### Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will work alongside the current administrators and other team members for safeguarding to provide administrative support in all aspects of their role, including:

- management of safeguarding concerns and enquiries internally and externally using Datix and ambulance data systems to collect information and prepare for clinician review.
- directly supporting the Head of Safeguarding with administrative support.

- Data gathering and analysis to support quality practice.
- Support the dissemination of learning and training.
- Using excellent communication skills to build strong effective relationships with all internal and external partners.
- Contribute to the audits and support compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage conflicting demands on time and resources to deliver objectives through effective time management.

We are seeking a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic individuals who will:

This role is currently hybrid working with a balance between Wakefield HQ and home working. Office hours are Monday - Friday 09:00-17:00.

## Person Specification

### Qualifications, skills and experience

**Essential**

- Educated to GCSE Standard at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English or equivalent.
- Level 3 Qualifications e.g. A levels, NVQ3, BTEC certificate or diploma or apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- Ability to deal with an unpredictable workload ensuring key priorities and deadlines are met through effective time management
- Competent in the use of data bases, word processing packages, spreadsheets, Power-Point, and ability to extract information and analyse trends
- Demonstrates integrity, understanding and maintenance of confidentiality and handling sensitive issues
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Significant experience of administration and office routines
