Supporting the delivery of a public health offer to families, children and young people and delivering the Healthy Child Programme core offer. The role supports the School Nurse with young people who are subject to Child in Need/ Child protection and Cared for Children. The role gives a great insight to our service and has supported employees to develop into other roles associated with public health and 0-19 services. We have great feedback from students and staff who enjoy working within a friendly and supportive team. ### Main duties of the job Supporting the 0-19 service to deliver the 0-19 Public Health Nurse offer. Managing a safeguarding caseload, including completing health assessments, contributing to multiagency meetings and completing reports. Delegation and work planning/organisation Facilitating clinics across the North Locality Cheshire East ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities The successful candidate will work as part of the 0-19 service, delivering public health offer across Central Team working initially with the 5-19 age group. The role also includes providing leadership to junior colleagues and new starters, organising/ work planning and delegation and chairing and attending meetings.
