Please be advised that only applicants with a recognised PG Cert in Primary care mental health practice (IAPT) or BSc(hons) Counselling, Coaching and Psychological Interventions (PWP) will be shortlisted for interview NHS Talking Therapies PWP’s offer accessible screening, assessment and treatment for common mental health problems. We like to make sure we offer a variety of options as one size does not fit all. Not only are we a flexible service for those accessing us as we run groups, offer telephone, video online (Attend Anywhere) and face-to-face treatment sessions. We offer a flexible Hybrid working model to staff consisting of days from home and clinics within a variety of community settings including the office. ### Main duties of the job PWPs also have an important link role developing relationships with local GP practices and advocating health promotion within the wider community. Our team members are encouraged to develop specialisms by taking on champion roles such as long term conditions, young people, safeguarding, BAME, older adults and substance misuse. As part of the role you will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. This may include early morning and late evening appointments as well as the possibility of working some Saturday mornings.
