## Job Content

### Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic qualified CBT therapist to join our Mental Health Support Team (MHST) based in East Hants, covering the Alton and Petersfield areas. The team is made up of CBT therapists, Education Mental Health Practitioners and a Childrens' Wellbeing Practitioner. The role will involve delivering evidence-based interventions to children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The base is in Basingstoke, but you will predominantly be working within the East Hants area. The community nature of the role may mean you are required to travel and support in other locations across the wider MHST area.

### Main duties of the job

You will work in education settings and in the community. You will undertake mental health assessments (including risk assessments) and will work within schools using evidenced based CBT interventions. This would be an ideal post for a qualified CBT therapist who is also looking to develop their supervisory and leadership skills in a health and educational context. There are also exciting progression opportunities within the trust.

You will work directly with children and young people of primary and secondary school age, and in some cases their parents and carers. You will support MHST work to develop and deliver whole school approaches for emotional wellbeing and mental health.

You will receive regular supervision and will be supported with ongoing training and CPD opportunities.

We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.
