This is an opportunity to work on high-profile projects that will have a real impact on how we deliver healthcare, research and innovation, and on the people who use and work in our buildings. You’ll take responsibility for defined project workstreams and elements of delivery, working closely with the Redevelopment team and supporting the wider project programme. You'll bring together clinical, operational, estates and technical teams alongside designers, consultants and contractors, helping to manage challenges and keep delivery on track. With experience of complex healthcare or life sciences projects, you’ll bring strong knowledge of construction, NEC4 contract administration and project management. You’ll be confident working within NHS governance, public sector procurement and complex, operational environments. The portfolio is varied, so you’ll need to adapt to different project contexts, stakeholders and delivery challenges, while maintaining momentum and keeping sight of the bigger picture. You’ll be a confident and collaborative Project Manager who can build strong relationships, navigate complexity and make sound decisions. You’ll bring a practical, solutions-focused approach, with the judgement and resilience to keep projects moving in a demanding environment. ### Main duties of the job - You’ll manage the delivery of redevelopment projects from initiation through design, procurement, construction and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, effectively, on programme and within budget. - You’ll develop and maintain project plans, programmes and milestones, monitor progress and provide clear updates on risks, issues, dependencies, decisions and financial performance. You’ll identify and resolve issues, escalating where appropriate to keep projects moving. - Working across a complex healthcare environment, you’ll coordinate clinical, operational, estates and technical teams alongside designers, consultants, contractors and suppliers.
