This role is an exciting permanent opportunity for a Project Implementation Manager within our Strategy and Delivery team. The successful candidate will support our customers by managing multiple ICT projects aligned to local and national digital strategies.

This is a challenging but rewarding position where you will use proven project methodologies (PRINCE2 and agile/hybrid approaches) to deliver projects on time and within scope, while working directly with staff and services to implement transformational change in complex environments. We are looking for a dynamic, confident and flexible individual who can handle pressure and adapt to changing requirements and deadlines.

### Knowledge

**Essential**

- Ability to communicate effectively complex ideas to non-technical staff
- Ability to analyse and resolve complex Issues
- Excellent negotiation and facilitation Skills
- Ability to learn complex systems with minimal supervision
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Strong MS Office skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work on a number of concurrent projects with tight deadlines
- Knowledge of related local and national strategies and policies
- Knowledge of clinical information systems or how large systems are implemented

**Desirable**

- Knowledge of the role and importance of Health informatics within the NHS

- Working within complex programmes of work using the PRINCE methodology or similar
- Experience of stakeholder engagement
- Experience of change management
- Experience of working with complex IT systems
- Delivery of Information systems
- Strong analysis skills

- Production of Information Strategies/Business Cases/Option Appraisals

### Qualifications

- Educated to Degree level or equivalent professional qualification and/or experience
- Knowledge of project methodologies eg Prince2
