### Job summary

An exciting six-month secondment opportunity has arisen within the Portfolio and Programme Management Office (PMO) for a Programme Manager, due to the Trust securing specific funding for six-months to support the implementation of Shared Care. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your programme management experience and skills by contributing to a high-profile programme that support the Trusts strategic objectives and improve mental health services and pathways.

Working closely with clinicians, operational colleagues, service users and partner organisations, you will help lead the Shared Care programme throughout the planning and implementation phases. You will bring strong programme management, governance, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, together with the confidence to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within agreed timescales.

We welcome applications from individuals who can work collaboratively, provide effective leadership and bring a positive, improvement-focused approach to the PMO and Shared Care programme team. As this is a six-month secondment, applicants should discuss the opportunity with their current line manager before applying.

### Main duties of the job

The Programme Manager will lead on the Shared Care programme and support the programmes Senior Responsible Officer and winder programme team. This six-month secondment opportunity will work within the Portfolio and Programme Management Office, the post holder will develop, implement and monitor detailed programme plans, manage risks, benefits and dependencies, and ensure delivery to agreed time, cost and quality standards.

The role will involve working closely with clinical and operational teams, service users, carers and partner organisations to design and implement new models of care and service improvements. The post holder will analyse complex information, produce high-quality reports and presentations, support statutory and external reporting, and represent the PMO at programme boards and other meetings.

The role requires confident leadership, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work autonomously across organisational boundaries. Travel across Devon will likely be required.

- Lead and manage complex programmes and projects that support the Trusts strategic objectives and improve mental health services and pathways.
