### Main duties of the job

The post holder will support the Procurement Business Manager in the provision of a professional procurement service to the Health Board / Trust contributing to the development and achievement of the the teams objectives.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to use Microsoft products

- Proven ability to establish and enhance effective working relationships with stakeholders

**Desirable**

- Ability to work to deadlines

### Knowledge / Experience

**Essential**

- Knowledge of professional purchasing principles acquired through NVQ level 3 or Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply, plus knowledge of contract law acquired through short courses and experience

**Desirable**

- Tendering and specification writing

### Qualifications and knowledge

**Essential**

- Qualified to CIPS (Level 4)/NVQ2/3 or equivalent experience
- 5 GCSE’s grade C and above, including Maths & English or equivalent experience
