You will be joining a well-established multi-disciplinary children’s mental health team based in Chertsey. The role is part-time (30 hours). Working closely with the service manager, you will lead on psychology services in the team, ensuring high standards of quality and productivity. You will work alongside the CYPS psychology leads to develop psychology services for children and young people across Surrey. The post-holder will have expert knowledge of mental health challenges facing children and young people and ideally have additional training or qualifications in psychological interventions, e.g. training in EMDR or BABCP accreditation. They will have substantial experience working in children’s mental health services. They will have experience of adapting interventions to work with neurodiverse children. They will be committed to inclusive and accessible services. Knowledge and skills in supervision and outcome measures is essential.
