HMP Millsike is a newly built prison with an operational capacity of 1500 places. This is a rare opportunity to be part of a new healthcare team from the inception of a brand new prison site. In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed. Hours 37.5 hours a week working a rolling 5 week shift pattern, with 1 weekend in 5. Week 1, working Monday and Tuesday 07:00 - 19:15 plus weekend, Week 2, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 07:00 - 19:15. Weekend shift is 08:15 - 18:00 Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to £41,659 per annum - depending on experience. How will we support you? As a Primary Care Nurse your responsibilities will vary. You will

- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions
- Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening
- Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
- Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
