### Job overview

An exiting opportunity has arisen to join the Primary Care Mental Health Team as a Mental Health Lead in Kirkby.

This is an exiting post improving collaboration between primary care secondary care services to support patients getting access to the right service, at the right time, in the right place.

This post will be working closely with Kirkby GP's, Kirkby PCN and Mersey Care to support those with mental health difficulties.

### Main duties of the job

To manage a defined area of responsibility safely and effectively, ensuring the delivery of a high standard of care to the service users by supervising and monitoring a range of multi disciplinary.

To maintain close links with other professionals both internal and external to the Trust to maintain a high quality of service delivery.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

- Evidence of excellent clinical record keeping
- Demonstrate the ability to work in highly demanding environment.

- Undertaken a leadership programme.

- Evidence continued leadership development

- Demonstrates ability and Knowledge on how to undertake audit and feedback to clinicians

### Experience

**Essential**

- Significant evidence of post registration experience, in relevant service areas.
- Significant evidence of delivering teaching programmes to staff groups.
- Understanding of Adult safeguarding issues
- Competent in use of IT packages such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
- Evidence of audit's undertaken and outcomes.

**Desirable**

- Experience of presentations at local, regional, national level.
- Experience of providing supervision to others, and experience in a leadership role.
- Competent in using databases and spread sheets

### Qualifications

**Essential**

- Relevant professional qualification – RMN / Occupational Therapist

**Desirable**

- NMP Qualification
- Completed course/module research methods
