The Primary Care team consists of a team of 15 which include Senior Primary Care Nurses, Health Care Assistants, Advanced Nurse Practitioners and Non-Medical Prescribers. Highpoint is spilt into 2 sites, the North Building has around 390 males and the South Building has around 950 males. Both sites have designated Healthcare Departments which you will be based in. Highpoint Prison offers - Free on-site gym. - Free parking. - Career Development / Training opportunities . Hours: 37.5 Monday-Friday Included weekends Monday-Friday- 7.45am-6:15pm Weekends- 8:00am-18:00pm *Please note transport by car is recommended due to location of the prison. Salary This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum- depending on experience. Up to 4% pension contribution Up to 4 weeks occupation sick pay Support from the wider team Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checks. ### Main duties of the job As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will - Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams. - Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required. - Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role. - Drive forward Clinical projects - Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence. - Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site. - Chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners, provide clinical supervision (training available) and carry our investigations locally and for the wider region.
