Are you enthusiastic to learn and ready to commit to a training role that could see you qualify as a Pharmacy Technician and a registered professional. We are pleased to offer four Pre-registration trainee Pharmacy Technicians posts onto an apprenticeship programme . The positions allow opportunity to work along side our fantastic pharmacy team - gaining a range of experience, competencies, and developing the desired behaviours that align with the standards set out by the GPhC. The posts are full time and rotational, across different sectors such as secondary care, prisons and community services.   Attending college one day a week (remotely)  whilst embedding your learning through practical and technicial skills. To be eligible for the apprentice funding, and meet the job, you must meet all the essential criteria and :- Have been a resident in the UK for at least the previous three years before the start of learning (not on a student visa) Minimum of 5 GCSE at grades A*-C /9-4 including mathematics, English language and two sciences including chemistry, or equivalents. Not already hold a degree in a relevant subject Original certificates and proof of qualifications must be brought and  shown at interview. Ideally you  will have a  relevant  pharmacy qualification  such as NVQ level 2 in pharmacy skills Be able to travel across the GMMH footprint and locations. ### Main duties of the job The job will involve:- Supply of medications to wards and clinics  for both stocks and in patient use Dispensing of medications for in patients, out patient's and clinics including controlled drugs Involvement  in medicines reconciliation Prepare and train to carry out final accuracy checks of dispensed medications.
