Our department encompasses a wide range of clinical areas, including the Surgical Day Admission Unit (Woodpecker & Nightingale), the Nurse‑Led Sedation Unit, Pre‑Assessment, Anaesthetics, Scrub, Recovery, Interventional Radiology, the Cardiac Catheter Lab, as well as specialist services such as the Central Venous Access Team and the Pain Management Team. In this role, you will provide education and support to a diverse group of nursing and allied healthcare professionals, with a primary focus on staff working in both areas Anaesthetics and Scrub. Other areas within our department are supported by different members of the Education Team, and we work collaboratively to ensure staff are confident and competent throughout every stage of the patient’s surgical journey. ### Main duties of the job We are looking for a versatile and experienced practitioner who can support the full range of clinical services within the directorate. Working closely with the wider Education Team, you will contribute to delivering high‑quality education, support, and training to staff across our clinical areas.
