We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. Post is available from August 2026 for period of 6 to 12 months offering advanced sub-specialist training in Paediatric Anaesthesia. The post is based at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow: a leading Paediatric training centre in the UK with access to all specialities including cardiac, craniofacial, neurosurgery, complex airway, cleft and pain, in addition to a high neonatal workload. Sub-interests in simulation teaching, wellbeing and eco-anaesthesia are now being offered with dedicated SPA time. Research, audit and quality improvement are encouraged. This is an exciting and challenging clinical post for those wishing to have a major interest in paediatric anaesthesia in the future, be it in a tertiary centre or district general hospital. Fellowship can be tailored to accommodate special interests. ### Applicants MUST hold Certificate of Completion of Specialist training in Anaesthesia or equivalent on starting the post. These posts are not suitable for applicants wishing to pursue the MTI route. Please do not apply if you will not hold a CCT in anaesthetics on starting. ### Interested?
