The RVI manages both paediatric and adult trauma, treating around 100 open fractures per year and 30-40 pelvic injuries. The unit also offers exposure to limb reconstruction, including circular frame application and management with opportunities for hands on involvement in deformity correction, bone loss, and complex trauma reconstruction. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated post-CCT surgeon with strong experience in orthopaedic trauma and a keen interest in major trauma care. They will demonstrate advanced clinical skills in major trauma management, sound decision making in high pressure environments, and a commitment to multidisciplinary teamworking.
