This one year programmed in General and Upper GI will provided training and experience in all aspects of care for patients. the postholder will be supervised by Mr Tarig Abdelrahman, Lead Consultant Surgeon for Upper GI and will work with the Upper GI Surgeons associated with the programme. On completion of this programme it is anticipated that the trainee will have skills appropriate to a Surgeon with a special interest in Upper GI. The one year programme is based at the University Hospital of Wales. The post is subject to review after six months and continuation in the post is dependent upon satisfactory performance. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Clinical Fellow in General & Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery) Refer to Personal Specification and Job Description ### Applicant requirements You must have appropriate UK professional registration. This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
