This post will be offered as Part Time 30 hours per week 8am-4pm working over a 7-day rota covering 1 weekend in 4. ### Main duties of the job Our Porters carry out a wide range of tasks which makes the job interesting and varied. No two days are the same and because we provide services to the NHS you will play a role in supporting better care. The job includes collecting and moving items, disposing of waste, sorting and delivering post, and moving furniture. You’ll need to work flexibly and think on your feet as you solve problems and issues. You will also be responsible for driving various vehicles safely and you could be working outdoors in all weather conditions. There can be interaction with patients which requires awareness of safety and sensitivity to their needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys carrying out a diverse range of tasks. ### Detailed job description and main responsibilities Please find attached job description for full details. Pay: Band A (£12.92 per hour) We welcome your application. Please note that all jobs will be appointed on the NTW Solutions Limited terms and conditions (not NHS/A4C terms). If you currently work for NTW Solutions on AfC terms and and conditions, you will be given the choice to retain these or move onto NTW Solutions terms and conditions. Please note that the above advertised salary will not apply if you choose to remain on AfC.
