The role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our dynamic and supportive Podiatry team within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. We are seeking Band 5 Podiatrists to help deliver high-quality, patient-centred foot care services across a variety of settings, including community clinics, domiciliary care, and hospital sites. Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply. All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met. Duration, Location, and Working Pattern: - This is a permanent post working 36 hours - Both full-time and part-time hours will be considered. - The shift pattern for this post will be Monday – Tuesday 08:30 -16:30 and Wednesday-Friday 08:30 – 16:00 - The role involves working across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in a range of settings, including community clinics, patients' homes, and hospital sites. Key responsibilities: You will deliver evidence-based podiatric care across a diverse caseload, utilising digital platforms to advise and triage patient needs while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care pathways, contribute to health promotion and patient education, and maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational standards. You will also have opportunities to contribute to ongoing service development. Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job: - Degree or Diploma in Podiatry (or pending award). - HCPC registration, or eligibility for HCPC registration pending degree classification. - POM-A Certification. - Basic computer and IT skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous professional development. - Desirable: Full UK driving licence. - Desirable: POM-S or Independent Prescribing qualification.
