Are you interested in helping people and have a keen eye for administrative detail? The East of England Clinical Genetics Service are looking for a well organised, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the PICS (Patient Information Collation Service) Team as PICS Administrator.  The Clinical Genetics service is provided by an integrated team of doctors, genetic counsellors and  genomic practitioners, who are supported by administrative and secretarial staff.  You will be working under the guidance of the Genetics Administrative Coordinator. The Clinical Genetics service covers the East Anglian region which consists of Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk areas. All genetic referrals, appointments and secretarial/administration is carried out within our department. You will be working in an open plan office along with your secretarial colleagues and our appointments team and administration staff.

You will be gathering medical information required to assist our clinical team in providing accurate risk assessments/genetic testing for our patients.  You should have the ability to work well under pressure, be organised and have excellent attention to detail. You must be able to work both independently and within the team, liaise with staff at all levels in a confident manner and be willing to learn.

-        applied for a Graduate visa

-        or you will have successfully completed your course and have applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date of your employment
