As part of the physiotherapy team you will be delivering rehabilitation programmes to patients within an inpatient setting.  This includes working with predominantly older adults, and will include some elements of personal care.  Excellent communication skills are key and it is important that you  are a team player with a positive outlook, enthusiasm and ability to learn and develop new skills. Previous experience in a caring role would be advantageous. The post holder may be required to work a 7 day job plan to support the delivery of 7 day Physiotherapy services. A full and comprehensive training programme will be available. ### Main duties of the job Principally to provide a service, under the direction of a registered practitioner, to the individuals within a defined area. They will work with direction to assist the registered practitioner in clinical and administrative duties following specific competency-based training. They will independently carry out routine treatment programmes to both individuals and groups which have been delegated by a registered practitioner. They will progress within guidelines laid down by the registered practitioner. They will be responsible and accountable for these tasks.
