An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2 full time band 4 Physiotherapy assistant practitioners to work within the inpatient teams as apart of either the Acute stroke unit in Royal Glamorgan Hospital, Pontyclun or the inpatient rehabilitation in Ysbyty Cwm Rhondda Hospital, Tonypandy.

### Main duties of the job

You will carry out treatment programs under the guidance of a registered therapist in order to provide rehabilitation and other interventions to facilitate safe discharge. Some clerical and administration tasks will also be undertaken (e.g. keeping records, filing, photocopying). You will be expected to work independently.

A positive and organised approach to rehabilitation is essential. Good communication skills and commitment to team working within a safe, empathetic and supportive environment are also needed.
