Location: NHS GGC Wide

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

Key responsibilities:

- Manage a designated MSK caseload, including triage, assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge planning
- Work autonomously using clinical reasoning to deliver safe, effective and patient-centred physiotherapy interventions
- Collaborate with the wider multi-professional team to ensure coordinated care for patients and carers
- Identify and appropriately manage patients requiring urgent referral to other services
- Participate in clinical audit, service evaluation and quality improvement activities
- Support and supervise physiotherapy students and delegate tasks to support staff where appropriate
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to effective communication across services

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:

- Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy with current HCPC registration
- Postgraduate experience with a strong interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy
- Evidence of continuing professional development and progression of clinical skills
- Understanding of MSK assessment, diagnosis and treatment approaches
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team within a busy clinical environment
- Effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of IT systems, including patient management systems and data input
