The team consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Specialist Nurse, and rehabilitation support workers all providing goal focused rehabilitation on an acute ward. The successful candidate must have experience of working in core areas of physiotherapy, have experience within neurology. They must be dynamic and flexible to the workload fluctuations. You will receive support from experienced Band 7 Physiotherapists and other therapy professional leads and have a chance to develop your skills whilst working with patients and the wider MDT and other agencies. To work closely with patients and their carers, other disciplines and services, to identify and realise desired and achievable goals, and optimise wellbeing, Independence and quality of life To work with clients with stroke who are inpatients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. This includes specialist client assessment, treatment and ongoing rehabilitation, working towards client centred goals in the context of Stroke Rehabilitation and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing specialist stroke and neurological assessment and treatment to own designated caseload of patients and to maintain up to date therapy records.
