This post would be suited to either an experienced band 5 physiotherapist or a band 6 physiotherapist with stroke / neurology experience within a diverse and friendly team. ### Main duties of the job To provide a high standard physiotherapy service to neurologically impaired patients at West Middlesex Hospital To work closely with patients and their carers, other disciplines and services, to identify and realise desired and achievable goals, and optimise wellbeing, Independence and quality of life To work with clients with stroke who are inpatients at West Middlesex Hospital. This includes specialist client assessment, treatment and ongoing rehabilitation, working towards client centred goals in the context of Stroke Rehabilitation and as part of the multi-disciplinary team. To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing specialist stroke and neurological assessment and treatment to own designated caseload of patients and to maintain up to date therapy records.
