Spire Clare Park Hospital are looking for a Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a full time permanent basis.

### Main duties of the job

Duties and responsibilities: To provide an exemplary specialist technical service to support the pharmacy department and other areas of the hospital that stock medicines, working within own level of competence and in accordance with current legislation, accepted professional and ethical standards and Spire Healthcare policies and procedures. Monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate stock levels Assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems Participate in pharmacy and departmental stock takes Provide general administrative support to the department Contribute to the safe and effective use of medicines, ensuring cost efficiency.

As a key member of the team, you will support the department in the provision of pharmacy services including ordering, stock control and preparation of drugs and medicines. The hospital provides a broad range of surgical and diagnostic services, including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology and ENT, supported by stateoftheart imaging facilities.
